Singer/songwriter Kate Boytek is set to take the stage at the Pinch Reunion Wigwam on August 5th, 2023. The concert is a highly anticipated event for fans of Kate's fresh and contemporary songwriting style, which also has echoes of classic singer-songwriters from the 1970s.

Kate Boytek's musical journey began at the age of five, when she first performed at her local county fair talent show. Singing opportunities were hard to come by in her hometown of Logan, nestled deep in the Appalachian coalfields. But Kate persevered, singing at dozens of local charity events and directing her church choir. Eventually, she caught the attention of West Virginia native and legendary Grand Ole Opry and Bradley's Barn audio engineer Vic Gabany.

Kate has shared the stage with country hitmakers Easton Corbin, LOCASH, Drew Parker, Tyler Farr, Eric Paslay, Trick Pony, Little Texas, Ronnie McDowell, and Jo Dee Messina. She is currently working on her debut album, which will feature tracks written by Kate herself as well as veteran songsmiths like Britton Cameron (Lonestar, Sister Hazel), Kim McLean (Loretta Lynn, Trisha Yearwood, and Tim McGraw), and Brian Carper (Aaron Lewis).

Kate Boytek's career has been guided by veteran music executives Bernard Porter (Jason Aldean) and Burke Allen (AGT winner Landau Eugene Murphy Jr.), who recognize her talent, personality, and potential to go "anywhere". Looking for a fun and exciting way to celebrate with your community? Look no further than the Community Parade! This event is open to all and welcomes a variety of vehicles and floats. Whether you have a car, truck, ATV, tractor or anything else, feel free to decorate it and join in on the fun.

The parade will begin with a lineup at 4:00 pm and start at 5:00 pm at the lots of New Beginnings Church and Pinch Elementary. So, bring your friends and family and join us for a festive celebration!

If you have a car, truck, or motorcycle you are proud of, come by and let others check it out. Because this is a "cruise in" this year, feel free to stay the whole time or for as long as you like. It's a great opportunity to hang out with other vehicle enthusiasts and compare notes. Not bringing a vehicle? No problem, come by and look around and bring your appetite as food will be sold by folks from New Beginnings Church!

Come out, chat with KCHAA staff, and meet some of their furry friends! This event will be hosted across from the Pinch VFD.
