History of the Reunion

Founded in 1902 By Judge William W. Wertz, a former Mayor of Charleston, the Pinch Reunion is the longest running community reunion in the nation.

Over the years, many things have changed about the Reunion, but it always features music, local entertainment, and although it has been expanded to more than one day, it still opens the Sunday Service with "The West Virginia Hills," and closes with "God Be With You 'Til We Meet Again."

This event was started to raise the educational, religious, and family standards of the community of Pinch. We invite you to come and join us this year.

The Pinch Reunion is usually held on the Second Weekend of August.
